Overview

The Equipment Aid Scheme supports registered micro and small enterprises with subsidised access to productive equipment — from sewing machines and welding rigs to bakery ovens and carpentry tools. The Regional Governor's Office is an intake and verification point; the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade administers the scheme.

Eligibility

Registered Namibian citizen, aged 18 or older
Business registered with BIPA or in the informal sector register
Operating in one of the fourteen regions
Not previously received an Equipment Aid grant

How to apply

Download the Equipment Aid application form (see Publications)
Attach quotations from at least two suppliers
Submit through your Regional Governor's Office
Allow up to 8 weeks for verification and approval
